Grain-Free, Dairy-Free, Soy-Free Recipes of the Baked Goods you Know and Love!
All SatFatRox recipes are made without the use of grains, dairy, or soy ingredients, due to their allergenic and inflammatory effects on the body. You will also notice that we don’t cook or bake with nuts, seeds, or the oils extracted from them. This has to do with the instability of the unsaturated fatty acids predominantly present in nuts and seeds and thus, their potential to become damaged and inflammatory. So, long live coconut oil, palm shortening and cocoa butter!! Please remember that the bulk of “gluten-free” recipes you’re going to find on the web are not truly gluten-free, if they contain ANY type of grain. Examples of grains:
- oats (there’s no such thing as “gluten-free oats”!)
- corn (found as starch in traditional baking powder!)
- rice (yes, even rice is a grain!!)
